So... I said no to the Bangkok trip in January. I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything really, because cheap clothes from Bangkok aren't really worth anything.
Spent pretty much most of the week trying to study for my South Asia midterm on Friday. That's got to be the worst day ever to have a test, means you can't focus on anything else for the entire week, and so I feel like my week is gone. Open floor on Tuesday was a bright spot. Trying to help with pasta-making and failing, and also being able to blast my music to the maximum, and squeezing like 12-odd people into my room was pretty fun.
Again, I spent a lot of time trying to study for my South Asia midterm, but nothing much ever got done, and I didn't even accomplish half the things I wanted to do in my revision. And then spent an insane amount of time doing things other than studying. All because I couldn't understand Pakistan and that prevented me from moving forward. Gah. Studying outside the Central Forum in the middle of the night was pretty fun too! (:
Wanyi's laptop got stolen outta her room, and it's proving to be quite a stressful time, now everyone is just so scared, and it sucks to see everyone's doors shut so much more.
Friday finally came around, test was pretty horrible, but I hope I did okay. Went for my CNM consultation, met this dude who I was able to talk to easily, and wonders of wonders, he was from VS. Almost didn't go for the consultation though! Because the darn room was so hard to find. Finished earlier than I expected and went to Vivo for a super fast shopping/coffee trip before coming back to play tennis! Then bummed around and slept hella late.
Overslept and missed the Nike Human Race. Heehee. Got home just in time for a quick lunch and got to tuition just in time to find out my kid was going to be very very late. -.- Also! She had a new pair of glasses! Very cute, she was so shy about it. Reminded me of me when I first got glasses. Teehee.
And then it was dinner in Orchard. :D Followed by a failed shopping trip where I wanted to get clothes, but ended up with 3 books from Kinokuniya! :D Including Franz Fanon's The Wretched of the Earth. Very excited to read that! I hope I'll be able to finish most of that book before the PS final. Imagine the shit I could use!! Zomg, I've never been so excited about doing extra work for a class. This is sick shit.
